A portion of a SPC review…
With the rewarding and challenging gameplay, 20-30 hours of story to play through, and oodles of secrets to explore and uncover, Little King’s Story gets a high recommendation as one of the best games of the year.

I’ve never really stopped to think about Link’s outfit. I know it’s important to the Zelda history, but outside of that, it’s a kind of silly outfit. Is it time for Link to wear something other than his green tunic and cap, or is this the garb he should be with for the rest of his digital life?

When festival goers flock to this year’s Retro on Roscoe street festival, they’ll have a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with a remarkable newcomer in hand-held entertainment. Appearing Aug. 1-2 at the festival’s site in Chicago’s Roscoe Village, the Nintendo DSi™ Mobile Tour invites consumers to board an interactive tour bus loaded with portable Nintendo DSi systems and software. Visitors and spectators can experience the unique features and creative fun of Nintendo DSi. With help from on-site Nintendo ambassadors, consumers can use Nintendo DSi to take and manipulate photos, tweak sound recordings and enjoy a wide variety of games. Visitors can print their original souvenir photos on the bus or store them online and download them from home.
As the latest evolution in Nintendo’s popular line of hand-held video game devices, Nintendo DSi features two built-in cameras, audio recording and playback functions, and access to a wealth of downloadable games and applications from the online Nintendo DSi Shop™. Players can use 10 different interactive “lenses” to tweak photos in unusual ways and share them over a local wireless connection, or have fun with their favorite music by using different audio filters to alter recorded voices or change the tempo of a song. Since launching in April, Nintendo DSi has sold more than 1 million units in the United States.

Capcom has up a really great post discussing all the different ideas they had for the Spyborgs boxart. What you see above is just a small sampling of all the ideas that were tossed around. I like the final boxart a lot, but there are some other concept designs that I like better!

Hey look, it’s…that thing! Japanese Animal Crossing: City Folk addicts will be able to download that…thing on August 15th. Anyone care to guess what it is?

I don’t know…I don’t really consider Frank West as a great character in gaming. My opinion doesn’t matter in this instance, for it’s Game Informer that chose him as one of the 10 game characters that you won’t soon forget. Click over and read the article…perhaps you’ll agree with their reasoning.
